You can install the Gorelo Agent via a PowerShell command (recommended) or via a manual executable. A client-specific installer automatically associates the agent with the specified client and location. A generic installer leaves the agent ready for adoption. Gorelo only supports operating systems that are currently supported by the vendor themselves (Microsoft/Apple).

Install the generic Windows agent

Navigate to the Assets List in the main menu

Hover over the +Assets button in the top right and click Agent Asset.

Optional: Add a client and a location

Copy the command and run it

  1. Select the target computer (Windows or Mac).
  2. Copy the command.
  3. Paste it into PowerShell or the terminal on the target computer and press Enter.

Adopt the Agent

Once the asset appears in the asset list (this can take a few minutes based on internet bandwidth), navigate to the Client/Location column and click the Adopt button.

Select the correct Client/Location and click Save.

Your asset is now connected to the appropriate client and location in Gorelo.
Run the installer in an elevated session.
  • For Windows, run PowerShell as administrator.
  • For macOS, run sudo su (if required).
