The Live Terminal in Gorelo allows you to connect to assets running on Windows and to execute your script collection directly from the Gorelo app. You can access the Live Terminal from your assets list:
  1. In Assets, select an asset
  2. From the asset detail page, in the sidebar, click Live Terminal.

Core features

The Live Terminal connects you to the PowerShell terminal on a remote Windows machine, with the following elements in the control bar:
  • Connection status: A status badge for the asset (Connected/Disconnected).
  • Retry: Restart a session when the asset is disconnected.
  • AI Assistance: Generate PowerShell scripts that run directly in the Live Terminal after you approve them.
  • PowerShell: Use the powershell.exe command interpreter to run commands.
  • Command Prompt: Use the cmd.exe DOS-lineage shell to run commands.
  • Run As User: Run commands as the last logged-in user.
Run whoami to check the profile you’re currently using in the Live Terminal.
