Assets in Gorelo are devices and endpoints that you manage through Gorelo. You add an asset to your fleet by clicking Assets, and the +Add an asset button. There are two kinds of assets in Gorelo:
  • Agent assets: A managed device running the Gorelo Agent.
  • Custom assets: Any other hardware. Gorelo provides a predefined custom asset list for access points, desktops or laptops, hypervisors, routers, printers, and phones. Add your own custom assets from Settings > Asset > Setting.

Move an asset to another client

  1. In Assets, click the asset’s name to open its dashboard.
  2. Under the asset’s name, remove the existing client.
  3. Select the new client.

View everything that happened on an asset

The asset timeline only shows actions that technicians take manually. To see automated activity too, such as apps installed by a policy:
  1. Open the asset.
  2. Click the three-dot menu, and select Agent logs.
  3. Remove the Severity filter to see every event.

Recover a deleted asset

If you delete an asset by accident, you can recover it from the recycle bin. The recycle bin holds deleted clients and assets for a timeframe that you set. Once that timeframe passes, the deleted item can no longer be recovered. See the CRM overview for the full list of features, including the recycle bin.

Remote access to assets

You can access remote assets through the embedded terminal in Gorelo. On any asset detail page, select either:
  • CLI: A classic embedded terminal for assets running on Mac and Windows.
  • Live Terminal Technical Preview: An advanced embedded terminal with AI assistance, for assets running on Windows and macOS.

Monitor running processes

On Windows and macOS assets, the Processes list on the asset detail page shows the CPU and memory consumption of each running process. Use it to spot what is slowing a device down before you connect to it. Use the KILL action to stop any process.
