Project tasks in Gorelo can contain checklists, useful to break down complex, multi-step engagements into granular, manageable actions. Once you create a checklist, you have the option to save it as a template to reuse it in another task or project. To do so, follow these steps:

Requirements

Select a recurring task you need to complete, like:
  • A client onboarding
  • A hardware configuration
  • An organization setup
  • A new user enrollment

Create the checklist template

Open the task

From the project’s dashboard (TABLE or** BOARD table**), click the task’s name to open the details.

Click the + icon

From the tabs menu, expand the additional options by clicking** **the + icon.

Select the Checklist option

Create a new checklist

Fille in the following fields:
  • Name: The name of this checklist.
  • Template: Leave it blank. 
Click Save.

Add items

Start adding items the Add a first item with the following fields:
  • Item: What to do. Can be text, URLs, and cotain emojis. 
  • Assignee (optional): Who has to do the action.
  • Due date (optional): The deadline for the action. Leave it empty to reuse the checklist later.
Press enter or click the icon to save it, and add another item.

Save as template

Once you complete the items list, click the  icon to save this checklist. Fill in the following fields:
  • Name: The name of the template
  • Visibility: Who can access the checklist. Select between:
    • Public: The client can access it from the project.
    • Private: Only you and your team can access it.
Once you save the checklist, the Cheklist menu displays it in your checklist templates list when you create another task. You can add this template to the task in one click instead of inputting the items manually.

Save the project as a template

You can save the entire project as a template in a similar way. Reusing project templates in Gorelo allows you to standardize workflows for complex, multi-step engagements and ensure consistent service delivery across different clients. To do so:
  • Navigate to your project’s dashboard.
  • Click the three dots menu.
  • Select Save as a template.
Next time you create a project, you can select this template to have an entire multi-step process ready to be tracked and completed.
